Opportunity

Portland Tractor is looking for an Inventory Analyst to join our team in Washougal, Washington. As the Inventory Analyst you will maintain the parts databases in the USA and Canada.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Determine inventory assortment and quantities at all branch locations based on sales history and customer demand
  • Review branch inventories to maintain inventory turns and initiate corrective action as required
  • Prepare and analyze data to assist senior management with continuous improvement
  • Communicate regularly with branch staff regarding inventory related changes
  • Contribute to establishing procedures to support customers, manage price changes and annual returns, and general policies and procedures
  • Work with business leaders to develop reports used to track KPIs
  • Review and manage open purchase orders
  • Assist Branch Managers with preparing vendor returns for slow moving or non-moving inventory
  • Assist branches with annual cyclical inventory counts
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Two years of prior experience in data analysis
  • Post‑secondary education in inventory, logistics, operations management, or a related discipline is required
  • Experience with inventory management and control systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel and Access
  • Experience with Sage 100 considered an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving skills and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and prioritization skills
  • Goal focused and detail oriented with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lead and manage a project from inception to completion

The base pay range for this role is: $40,000 to $47,000 per year, depending on experience. This is an onsite role based in Washougal, Washington.
