Century Group is partnering with a client to recruit an Inventory Accounting Manager in California. The role offers a base salary between $110,000 and $140,000 per year, with starting pay contingent on skills, experience, and location.

The position oversees inventory records across several facilities, reviews transactions for reliable reporting, and coordinates count programs to drive accuracy. Collaboration with accounting and operations ensures reconciliations and robust financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in inventory accounting or related roles.
• Experience with inventory controls, physical counts, costing methods and reporting.
• Experience using ERP and inventory management software.
• Ability to support inventory activities across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory records and accounting activities across multiple facilities.
• Review inventory transactions to ensure accurate reporting and visibility.
• Coordinate inventory count programs and address discrepancies.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations to support reconciliations and reporting.
• Develop reports and suggest improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
