Job summary

BayCare Health System, Interventional Radiology - MPH, Morton Plant, Clearwater, is seeking an Invasive Vascular Radiologic Tech for a part-time role. You will assist radiologists during interventional procedures and operate X-ray/ultrasound equipment to support patient care.

Required credentials include BLS, Florida Radiology license, ARRT, and vascular interventional modality certification within one year. Education options include Technical Radiology or an Associate degree in Radiology.

Qualifications

• Assist radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Operate and maintain diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound equipment for patient care.
• Perform imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, clerical tasks and patient transport.

Responsibilities - Invasive Vascular Rad Tech:

• Assists radiologist with all aspects of patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Any other related duties as necessary.

Education:

• Required - Technical in Radiology
• Or Associates in Radiology

Required Credentials:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Radiology - State of Florida
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists)
• Must receive Vascular Interventional modality certification within one year of employment
