Job summary

BayCare is seeking a Cath Lab/IR Tech in New Port Richey, FL. The role supports the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team in diagnostic and invasive procedures, functioning with minimal supervision during interventions.

Eligible candidates should have ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential and NBRC RRT credential, plus BLS/ACLS, with 1 year of Cath Lab or related experience. On-site, full-time with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Required ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential plus NBRC credential for RRT, and active BLS/ACLS.
• 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology or related area.
• Alternative education paths: CVT program graduate or Respiratory Therapy with RRT credential and related Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and invasive Cath Lab procedures as part of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team.
• Independently function during diagnostic and interventional procedures with minimal supervision.

BayCare is looking for its newest Cath Lab/IR Tech in New Port Richey, FL.The Cath Lab/IR Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Licensure & Certification:

• AART or RRT and Active NBRC credential for RRT is required
• BLSand ACLS is required

Education: Required Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR Graduate of CVT Program and No Experience OR 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education

Experience: Required experience is 1 year - Related Field; Or - 3 years - Related experience in lieu of Technical Training/Program

Location: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 10 hour shifts
