Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct faculty to support Cardiovascular Technology courses at the Lex D. Walters Campus and six county centers.

Positions are temporary and part-time, with opportunities for daytime, evening, online instruction, and dual-credit courses with area high schools. Instructors provide didactic, lab, and clinical instruction, assess student performance, maintain records, and contribute to curriculum quality.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related healthcare field.
• Must hold RCIS credential and current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic (lecture), laboratory, and/or clinical instruction in assigned courses.
• Evaluate student knowledge and clinical competencies through written, practical, and clinical assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and grading.
• Support curriculum quality and program goals through continuous assessment and improvement.
• Model professional, ethical, and safe clinical practice in classroom and clinical settings.
• Adjunct faculty are expected to serve as professional team members who support the college's mission.
