Instructors provide didactic and lab instruction, oversee vascular scanning protocols, anatomy, and data interpretation, and support curriculum updates under the guidance of the Program Director to ensure alignment with JRC-CVT and CAAHEP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential is required.
• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or closely related health science field from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical vascular scanning experience.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality didactic and laboratory instruction.
• Guide students through noninvasive vascular scanning protocols, vascular anatomy, and data analysis.
• Construct, administer, and grade scanning examinations; evaluate student techniques and reporting.
• Instruct on equipment optimization, transducer care, and safety standards; assist in curriculum updates to align with JRC-CVT and CAAHEP.

Education

Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Minimum 2 years of full-time clinical vascular scanning experience

RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential

Bachelor's degree (preferred)
