Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach at the Lex Walters Campus or six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Opportunities include daytime/evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses.

Applications reviewed as-needed for temporary, part-time teaching positions. Instructors provide didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction, evaluate student performance, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related healthcare field is required.
• RCIS credential and BLS certification are required; ACLS is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• One year of recent invasive cardiovascular clinical experience is preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic (lecture), laboratory, and/or clinical instruction in assigned courses.
• Evaluate student knowledge and clinical competencies through assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and grading.
• Support curriculum quality and program goals through continuous assessment and improvement.
• Model professional, ethical, and safe clinical practice in classroom and clinical settings.
• Serve as professional team member supporting mission and vision of Piedmont Technical College.
