Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part-time) to support teaching opportunities. Instructors may teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus or at six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick, with daytime, evening, or online classes and dual credit courses offered at local high schools.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology is required.
• Current RDCS or RCS credential must be held.
• Minimum of one year of outpatient or inpatient clinical work and/or preceptor experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to clinical sites.
• Ability and willingness to learn Trajecsys software systems.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and observe students in clinical environments for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide didactic (lecture), laboratory, and/or clinical instruction in assigned courses.
• Evaluate student knowledge and clinical competencies through written, practical, and clinical assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and grading.
• Support curriculum quality and program goals through continuous assessment and improvement.
• Model professional, ethical, and safe clinical practice in both classroom and clinical settings.
• Adjunct faculty are expected to serve as professional team members who support the mission and vision of the college.
