Job summary

MUHA's Cardiovascular Technologist II role supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular disease in an invasive procedure setting. You will scrub for left/right heart catheterizations and peripheral interventions, maintain recordings, and assist in room preparation and safety checks.

Qualifications include RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI with BLS, ACLS within 3 months, and a bachelor’s or equivalent in invasive cardiovascular tech. Sign-on bonus of $30,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification required within 2 years.
• BLS is required; ACLS obtained within 3 months of hire and maintained.
• Telemetry and radiologic experience preferred; must maintain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac and peripheral interventions with minimal assistance.
• Scrubs, gowns, gloving, and sets up back table with equipment.
• Records and monitors hemodynamics; documents events in MacLab.
• Maintains ECG setup and waveform monitoring; ensures safety equipment readiness.
• Transports patients and assists staff for safe, effective care.
