UnityPoint Health in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Cardiology Care Assistant to support Invasive Cardiology procedure labs. It is a 40-hour week with 5 eight-hour days from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The role focuses on patient safety, equipment readiness, and efficient room turnover. Responsibilities include patient transport, linen changes, and assisting with supply maintenance while complying with infection control policies.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess current BLS certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Basic computer knowledge using Microsoft Office, web browser, and email.
• Demonstrates competency in aseptic technique upon orientation.
• Call responsibilities may be associated with this position; stay available and substance-free.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains room turnover and equipment readiness for invasive cardiology procedures.
• Transports patients and supplies; assists with moving equipment and linen as needed.
• Performs patient care tasks and positions patients according to guidelines.
• Adheres to infection control and standard precautions within the lab environment.
