Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform sterile diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Vascular Lab. The role includes on-call responsiveness, collaboration with OR teams, and participation in cutting-edge hybrid procedures, with a 0.8 FTE schedule.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Interventional Radiology training/experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiology or related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with sterile procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Support intra-arterial access and physiologic patient monitoring.
• Prepare IR suite and equipment for next procedure to improve productivity.
• Input procedural charges and manage data in EPIC, Radiant and PACS.
• Adhere to PPE, infection control, and radiation safety policies.
• Provide age-appropriate care across all patient groups and support team.
