Job summary

UPMC Imaging Services in Erie, PA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with independence and professional judgment. The role requires ARRT certification, CPR, ACLS preferred or within orientation, and the ability to interact with patients and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified as Radiologic Technologist or RCIS required.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred or within orientation.

Responsibilities

• Code and track imaging in PACS and enter charges accurately.
• Interact with patients and staff with care and respect.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and review orders.
• Maintain quality control for point-of-care testing devices.
• Communicate procedures clearly and assist in patient preparation.
• Position and perform radiographic techniques and monitor patients.
• Support time-out and aseptic techniques to ensure safety.
• Provide standby call coverage as scheduled.
• Document radiation exposure in the electronic record.
