Job summary

UPMC Hanover is seeking an Invasive Cardiac Tech Specialist to support the Cath Lab in a full-time day shift. Location: Hanover, PA. On-call, weekend and holiday shifts required. Sign-on bonus $10,000 with a 2-year commitment. Salary range $34.89–$54.16/hour.

Candidates must have ARRT RT-R or RCIS certification, 5+ years of invasive cardiac experience, and BLS/CPR; ACLS preferred. This role involves imaging, patient safety, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an invasive cardiac tech.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist RT-R or RCIS certification is required.
• BLS or CPR certification required; ACLS preferred and must be obtained within orientation.
• Must be able to work across multiple invasive cardiology specialties.

Responsibilities

• Support other departments as directed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and supplies operation.
• Ensure all images are properly coded and archived in PACS and linked to electronic records.
• Maintain radiation safety and lead shielding practices.
• Provide patient education and obtain two identifiers for each patient.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
