Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures, collect and record anatomical and physiological data, and support the cath lab team.

You will ensure accurate labeling, safety compliance, and data integrity while maintaining equipment and patient records. This role requires teamwork and adherence to hospital policies in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in performing cardiovascular procedures and record data accurately.
• Maintain and label patient charts, ensuring iodine allergy information is current.
• Prepare and clean equipment, transducers, injectors, and compressors to ensure lab readiness.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and document pertinent patient history and data for procedures.
• Assist in catheter insertions, angiography, angioplasty, stent procedures, and pacemaker insertions as directed by the physician.
