Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians with cardiovascular procedures and to collect and document patient data. You will prepare equipment, label charts, and maintain hemodynamic monitors to support accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities include ensuring lab safety, performing sterile technique during catheter insertions, and maintaining PACS/WITT systems. A degree or equivalent experience is required with BLS and ACLS progression.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports and manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts; apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain patient data, label charts, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Clean and maintain equipment and supplies; inspect catheters and wire stocks.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and schedule procedures as needed.
• Record data such as ejection fractions and cardiac outputs; monitor hemodynamics.
