Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians during cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures. You will collect and review anatomical and physiological data to support diagnostic decisions, and ensure accurate documentation for interpretation by a physician.

The role involves preparing and cleaning equipment, supporting cath lab activities, and applying sterile technique during angiography, stent procedures, and pacemaker insertions.

Qualifications

• Language skills to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, procedures, or regulations.
• Math skills to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Locate and update patient history and labels; manage equipment labeling for iodine allergies.
• Assist with catheter insertions and injections under sterile technique during angiography and heart procedures.
• Maintain cath lab equipment, ensure proper charges, and review patient data and history for procedure scheduling.
