Intermountain Health seeks an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a busy cath lab setting. The role involves data collection, equipment handling, and strict adherence to safety protocols to support high-quality patient care.

You will participate in angiography, angioplasty, stent, and pacemaker procedures, while maintaining documentation, inventory, and lab scheduling.

Qualifications

• LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsabilités

• Assists physician with catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization, as well as angioplasties, stent procedures, and pacemaker insertions.
• Maintains and labels patient charts; updates files after procedures and documents histories and clinical data.
• Operates and maintains cath lab equipment, monitors, PACS, and networked systems; ensures radiation safety and infection control.
