Job summary

Globus Medical, through its NuVasive Clinical Services subsidiary, seeks a Neurophysiologist to provide intraoperative monitoring (IOM) in field-based surgical environments. You will collaborate with top surgeons, monitor nervous system activity, and support ongoing clinical innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree acceptable
• CNIM certification required
• Knowledge of IONM and anatomy/physiology preferred
• OR experience preferred
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication in English with surgeons and staff
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Maintain CNIM status and malpractice coverage as provided by the company

Responsibilities

• Obtain detailed medical history and consult with surgeon on at-risk structures
• Communicate monitoring information to surgeon and team during cases
• Display/label waveforms and calculate latencies, amplitudes, conduction times per protocols
• Identify monitoring protocols and troubleshoot to ensure data accuracy
• Prepare IOM logs/files and upload timely
• Maintain IONM equipment and perform maintenance checks
• Travel to operating rooms as required
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and compliance training
