Job summary

A leading provider of intraoperative neuromonitoring services is seeking a Neurophysiologist to monitor patients' nervous systems during surgery. This role requires effective communication with surgeons, maintenance of neuromonitoring equipment, and adherence to compliance standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, CNIM certification, and experience in the operating room. Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience.
• Knowledge of Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and/or human anatomy & physiology preferred.
• Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery by monitoring the patient’s nervous system.
• Communicates monitoring information to the surgeon and surgical team throughout the case.
• Maintains all neuromonitoring equipment and conducts required maintenance checks.
