Job summary
A leading provider of intraoperative neuromonitoring services is seeking a Neurophysiologist to monitor patients' nervous systems during surgery. This role requires effective communication with surgeons, maintenance of neuromonitoring equipment, and adherence to compliance standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, CNIM certification, and experience in the operating room. Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience.
Knowledge of Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and/or human anatomy & physiology preferred.
Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Provides intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgery by monitoring the patient’s nervous system.
Communicates monitoring information to the surgeon and surgical team throughout the case.
Maintains all neuromonitoring equipment and conducts required maintenance checks.
