Job summary

Aequor is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Portsmouth Communications and Administration team. You will draft content, format materials, publish to internal channels, and support site initiatives with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in communications or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication with exemplary attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SharePoint and CMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily communications efforts drafting, formatting, and publishing content for internal channels.
• Support updates and maintenance of the Portsmouth intranet (CoLab).
• Proofread and edit materials for clarity and corporate style guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Communications Manager for content review and publication.
• Support internal campaigns and events by preparing materials in line with team direction.
