A Bethlehem Elementary School (BES) interventionist collaborates with classroom teachers and instructional leaders to support students in meeting grade level expectations in literacy and mathematics. Interventionists work with the instructional leaders to engage in data analysis and implement research-based lessons that meet the needs of the students assigned to their small groups for intervention. Interventionists are integral to continuous growth in student performance as we strive for excellence and engage students in productive struggle to support them in developing the habits of mind and foundational skills necessary to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
