Job summary

UPMC Passavant is seeking a Full-Time Interventional Technologist for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Pittsburgh. The role includes administering contrast, patient safety, and precise imaging work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Shifts are four 10-hour days with on-call requirements; a $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The position requires ARRT certification (or equivalent), ACLS within a year, and BLS/CPR. Location: 9100 Babcock Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or equivalent.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• BLS/CPR required.
• Act 34 required.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast under proceduralist guidance.
• Positioning and radiographic technique for interventional procedures.
• Follow universal protocol and two-patient identifiers.
• Document patient history in electronic record and code exams.
• Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety with time-out process.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients and calm nerves.
• Ensure exams are coded and linked to RIS and ISITE.
