ARRT or RCIS certification is required with CPR; ACLS is preferred and new grads have up to one year to become board-certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or RCIS.
• ARRT Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology / RCIS certification and CPR required. ACLS desired.
• New grads have 1 year to obtain board certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures with skill and independence.
• Partner with physicians and care teams to deliver safe, efficient patient care.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients while upholding safety standards.
• Utilize advanced imaging tech, ensure accurate acquisition and documentation.
• Educate patients by explaining procedures and addressing questions.
• Maintain radiation safety, QA, and infection prevention practices.
• Participate in on-call coverage and team-based collaboration.

Qualifications

Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS).

Licensure, Certifications, And Clearances

ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required. CPR certification is required. ACLS certification is desired upon hire. Successful completion of ACLS certification required within orientation period. New graduates have 1 year to obtain their board certification.
