UPMC Passavant in Pittsburgh is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology to perform diagnostic and minimally invasive imaging procedures with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality imaging, and clear communication during procedures.

ARRT or RCIS certification is required with CPR; ACLS is preferred and new grads have up to one year to become board-certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or RCIS.
• ARRT Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology / RCIS certification and CPR required. ACLS desired.
• New grads have 1 year to obtain board certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures with skill and independence.
• Partner with physicians and care teams to deliver safe, efficient patient care.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients while upholding safety standards.
• Utilize advanced imaging tech, ensure accurate acquisition and documentation.
• Educate patients by explaining procedures and addressing questions.
• Maintain radiation safety, QA, and infection prevention practices.
• Participate in on-call coverage and team-based collaboration.
