Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a qualified IR/angiography technologist to support diagnostic and interventional imaging at a Montana hospital. Responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring, plus operating IR equipment to obtain high-quality images and maintaining patient safety.
Requirements include ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with 2+ years interventional experience preferred.
Responsible for performing Angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and capturing images, to support diagnostic and interventional imaging services.
Assist with procedures as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech, operate IR equipment to produce quality images, ensure patient safety and comfort, verify patient identity, obtain necessary consents, and follow radiation safety guidelines.
Maintain current licensure and certifications (ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS), demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, infection control, and sterile techniques. Ability to respond to emergent situations, communicate effectively, work independently or as part of a team, and handle delicate equipment with manual dexterity.
Ranges from entry-level with ARRT and BCLS to advanced with 2+ years of interventional experience, VIR certification, and a bachelor's degree for higher roles.
Document patient data, coordinate care, educate patients, and assist with procedural aftercare such as hemostasis. Requires physical stamina for patient transfers, prolonged standing, and navigating busy environments.
Based at a hospital in Montana, with a pay range of $35.25 - $54.39 per hour. Full-time position with variable hours, including call and holiday coverage.
