Position

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Responsibilities
  • Assist physician with diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Perform high quality radiologic, fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
  • Assist with pre‑procedural set up, sterile field, scrub and circulating assistance during the procedure.
  • Monitor patient’s wellbeing during exams & procedures; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Participate in projects and/or meetings, as well as complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
  • Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
  • Have a structured work‑approach, understand complex problems and be able to prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
Licensure & Certifications
  • Valid and current State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
  • Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).
  • Proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association; must be provided prior to start date.

Pay

Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500.00
Range: $34.00–$40.00 per hour
