Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc in Ogden, Utah, seeks an Angiography Technician responsible for performing angiography procedures, scrubbing, setting techniques, and capturing images, while ensuring patient safety and exam readiness.

Job description

Role Overview: Responsible for performing Angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and capturing images. Provides procedural assistance as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech, following lab policies and scope of practice. Ensures patient identification, prepares patients for exams, and maintains radiation safety standards. Develops expertise in invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, procedures, and proper use. Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, consent, QC, and reports equipment issues. Offers patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years angiography/interventional experience or Vascular/Interventional radiography certification
• Ability to respond to emergent situations independently and within a team
• Effective communication and infection control knowledge
• Proficiency in complex diagnostic and interventional procedures

Licenses & Certifications:

ARRT, BCLS, ACLS (within 120 days), PALS (if pediatric), relevant state licensure, VIR certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Visual acuity, manual dexterity, ability to lift and move patients and equipment, prolonged standing, and navigating busy environments.
