Job summary

Health Wealth Safe in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures using sterile techniques and advanced equipment. You will schedule procedures, prepare and position patients, produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation, and monitor patient status during procedures.

This role requires ARRT or RCIS certification and an Associate’s degree, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology.
• Certifications such as ARRT in Cardiac Interventional Radiography or Radiography, or CCI RCIS within 60 days.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret complex clinical data.

Role Overview: The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures using sterile techniques and advanced equipment.

• Key Responsibilities: Schedule procedures, prepare and position patients, and adjust equipment. Produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Assist with patient care, especially critically ill patients, and monitor hemodynamics during procedures. Maintain records, evaluate supplies, and ensure a sterile environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and anticipate physician needs based on an understanding of human vasculature and clinical protocols.
• Qualifications & Skills: Requires an Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology from an accredited program, with certifications such as ARRT in Cardiac Interventional Radiography or Radiography, or CCI RCIS within 60 days. Must demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret complex clinical data. Visual acuity and effective communication are essential.
