Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Surgical Technologist to support interventional procedures in a sterile environment. Under supervision, you will prepare rooms, stock supplies, assist with patient preparation, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Required 1–2 years related experience, Surgical Technologist Certification, and BLS. Knowledge of C-Arm and sterile technique is essential; you will participate in transfers and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and patient safety.
• BLS certification required.
• Familiar with interventional equipment used in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining and setting up the procedure room in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Stock procedure room and trays with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Clean and prepare the procedure room and equipment after procedures.
• Position and prep patients for procedures as directed by physicians.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy; maintain sterile technique.
• Handle medications under scope of practice and state regulations.
• Transport patients to/from procedure room and assist with transfers as needed.
• Maintain medical records and support CQI initiatives as required.
