Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Durham, NC seeks a skilled Surgical Technologist to support interventional procedures as a scrub and circulating assistant. You will prepare the procedure room, stock supplies, assist with patient positioning, and maintain sterile technique under physician direction.

You will work closely with radiology and nursing teams, handle medications within scope, ensure patient safety, document care and participate in CQI and regulatory compliance across USV/FMCNA policies.

Qualifications

• Required: Surgical Technologist Certification and state licensure/certification as applicable.
• Proficient in sterile technique and patient care.
• Experience with interventional procedures and C-Arm equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and setup of the procedure room.
• Stock and maintain procedure supplies and trays.
• Maintain sterile technique during interventional procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping.
• Provide scrub and circulating support under physician direction.
• Assist with medication preparation within scope of practice.
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality; comply with regulations.
