Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures under physician direction. The role requires teamwork with physicians, nurses and staff, and involvement in training and research activities.

The position demands strong technical knowledge, safety awareness in radiation protection, and the ability to manage equipment, inventory and data associated with cardiac, vascular and IR procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• 3-5 years of related work experience in interventional/diagnostic radiology.
• Massachusetts RT license, ARRT certification, and ACLS/BLS required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologist/vascular surgeon in diagnostic and IR procedures.
• Operate imaging and interventional equipment and assess image quality.
• Maintain inventory, supply expiring checks and equipment competencies.
• Record, store and analyze data from IR/vascular procedures.
• Follow scheduling, documentation, and safety policies; long shifts and on-call.
• Support cross-training, orientation, and operational flow of the unit.
