Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a per diem Interventional Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist radiologists and vascular surgeons, operate imaging and interventional equipment, manage inventory, and participate in training and safety programs while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

3–5 years of related work experience in radiology or IR
Advanced technical computer skills related to IR equipment and systems
Knowledge of IR lab inventory
Experience with Angiography (Special Procedures) preferred
Massachusetts RT license and ARRT certification required

Responsibilities

Assists interventional radiologist/vascular surgeon in diagnostic and invasive IR procedures.
Operates imaging and interventional equipment and evaluates image quality.
Manages supply inventory, expiration and stocking; performs monthly checks.
Troubleshoots modalities to complete IR and vascular procedures.
Maintains patient records and adheres to radiation safety protocols.
Participates in shift coverage and on-call responsibilities.
Ensures proper documentation of exams and patient care.
