Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Diagnostic/Interventional Radiology Technologist for per diem coverage in Minnesota. The role involves assisting IR procedures, operating imaging systems, and ensuring patient safety while coordinating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related work experience required.
• Able to work in a 20lbs lead apron.
• Advanced technical computer skills for IR systems.
• Experience with IR lab inventory.
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in Angiography (Special Procedures).
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology; BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the interventional radiologist/vascular surgeon in diagnostic and invasive IR procedures.
• Operate imaging and interventional equipment; evaluate image quality.
• Knowledge of supply inventory, expiration, stocking; monthly checks.
• Troubleshoot modalities; record, store, analyze data from cardiac, vascular, EP procedures.
• Provide technical skills to assist with IR and vascular procedures.
• Support shift coverage, on-call responsibilities, and cross-training.
