Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Documents patient information/history for exams.
• Begins/completes exams using RIS with high accuracy.
• Labels images with patient info and technologist initials accurately.
• Maintains quality control of exams using the PACS system.
• Aims for a repeat rate below 5% and applies ALARA principles.
