Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks a Per Diem Interventional Radiology Technologist to support the IR service line on the Einstein Philadelphia Campus. The role involves performing interventional radiographic procedures as needed, under radiologist direction.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified or ARRT eligible in Radiologic Technology (R).
• Two years as an interventional radiography staff member preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate interventional radiology equipment under radiologist supervision.
• Perform vascular angiographic, drainage, biopsies, nephrostomies, catheter insertions, embolizations and other procedures.
• Maintain patient and equipment safety during contrast delivery and imaging.
• Test contrast injectors and program selectors for proper timing and operation.
• Assist with QA/QC and support lead technologist and training staff.
