Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an experienced Radiographer-Interventional to perform vascular, neuro, and spine interventional imaging. The role requires an Illinois license and ARRT registry, with CPR certification and a radiography program completion.

This full-time position includes a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule, on-site work, and a sign-on bonus. You will work under department protocols, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging while collaborating with surgeons and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois license through IEMA.
• ARRT registry in radiography.
• CPR certification (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular interventional, neuro interventional and spine interventional imaging procedures.
• Evaluates the request for radiographic service and assesses the patient to determine the appropriate procedure protocol and method of application.
• Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.
• Prepare patient for procedures; providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
• Operate imaging equipment and accessories.
• Position's patient to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
• Provide imaging services of optimum quality with optimum productivity and customer service.
