Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Applied Sciences.
• ARRT certified, IDNS License, BCLS Certification.
• Maintains competencies and complies with continuing education requirements of credentialing agencies.
• Understanding of medical terminology.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work productively in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs Cardiac Catheterization Lab radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures and general radiographic and fluoroscopic diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Obtains hemodynamic data and digital angiograms as part of patient care, in accordance with department protocols and hospital policies.
• Evaluates requests for radiographic service and determines appropriate procedure protocol.
• Employs imaging systems and accessories to generate radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
• Performs interventional radiographic procedures as needed.
• Maintains asepsis and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Documents imaging procedures electronically.
