Sharp HealthCare seeks an experienced Interventional Special Procedures Technologist to support interventional procedures across radiology, vascular surgery and neuro intervention. You will scrub, manage procedures in cath lab/hybrid/OR/outpatient rooms, and ensure high-quality imaging with strict safety standards.

You will participate in on‑call rotations (minimum one weekend per month) and collaborate with physicians to maintain patient comfort, safety, and optimal imaging outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Formal AMA‑approved radiologic technology program completed.
• 1 year experience in interventional radiology or fluoroscopy.
• ARRT certificate required.
• Fluoroscopy permit (CA DoPH) required.
• CRT (CA DoPH) required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare required.
• Venipuncture certification required.

Aufgaben

• Document and verify patient information in imaging modality.
• Begin and end exams; complete exams in RIS.
• Code exams and billing modifiers; manage supplies.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Provide pre/post procedure education to patients and families.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to ALARA principles.
