Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide technical assistance for diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will acquire and process images, ensuring accuracy, while growing skills in a world‑class clinical environment.

You will work rotating shifts on a busy Angio service, collaborating with a dedicated team, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout exams and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by the ARRT and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
• Knowledgeable of sterile technique and maintaining sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures per protocol.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during and after exams.
• Understand drugs used in IR, indications, contraindications, interactions and effects.
• Record and maintain procedural data including injection data and fluoroscopic time.
• Monitor equipment, clean and service equipment as needed.
• Learn new techniques via in-service programs and professional sessions.
• Provide training and mentorship for new hires and students.
