Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus is seeking an Interventional Vascular Technologist to join an experienced interdisciplinary team performing minimally invasive vascular procedures. You will work alongside Vascular Surgeons to provide high-quality patient care with sterile technique and advanced imaging guidance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures per protocol.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Ensure patients safety and comfort during and after exams.
• Demonstrate understanding of primary purpose of drugs used in IR, indications, contraindications, contrast drug interactions and major effects.
• Record and maintain procedural data to include injection data, elapsed fluoroscopic time and procedural information.
• Monitor equipment, systems, clean equipment, and effects timely repair.
• Learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions.
