Job summary

Akron Vascular Care is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to support the clinical team, set up sterile surgical trays, and assist the Medical Director with procedures while managing radiographic images.

You will interact with patients, physicians, and dialysis facilities as part of our community education program, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging throughout the care journey.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern radiologic equipment and techniques.
• Understanding anatomy and safety precautions for radiology.
• Ability to prepare and store imaging data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up sterile trays for procedures.
• Assist radiologists during fluoroscopic and X-ray exams.
• Prepare images for reading and upload to directories.
• Monitor patients during procedures and maintain PHI confidentiality.
• Ensure radiation safety and participate in safety meetings.
