As an Interventional Vascular Technologist, you will provide technical support during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes sterile or aseptic technique to scrub in and assist with vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures according to established protocols.
• Establishes effective working relationships and promotes a collaborative team approach to patient care and process improvement.
• Prepares, screens, positions, and monitors patients before, during, and after vascular-interventional procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Educates patients on procedures and equipment and provides support to promote cooperation and a positive care experience.
• Operates ancillary and procedural equipment, adjusting settings and techniques as needed to optimize diagnostic image quality.
