Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking an Interventional Vascular Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional imaging. The role involves technical assistance and post-processing of images, with on-site duties from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on-call requirements.

Ideal candidates are ARRT(R) and RL licensed, with BLS certification and strong patient communication skills. The department emphasizes safety and precision in high-volume vascular procedures.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
ARRT(R) licensed Radiology Technologist (RL) in good standing.
Current state licensure as Radiology Technologist (RL).
Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

Scrub in and perform vascular/interventional/surgical procedures per protocol.
Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during and after exams.
Record injection data, fluoroscopic time and procedural information.
Monitor equipment, clean and repair as needed.
Attend periodic in-service programs and professional sessions.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Current state licensure as Radiology Technologist (RL)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Cardiovascular-Interventional/ Vascular-Interventional Radiology certification
