Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to provide specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage for interventional and angiographic procedures under physician direction.

The role requires completion of an ANA-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or Radiology Interventional Program, along with BLS and RTR credentials; high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of ANA-accredited radiology programs required.
• BLS certification and RTR required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage under physician supervision.
• Explains the procedure to the patient and preps the patient for the procedure.
• Obtains medications, radiopharmaceuticals, or contrast materials as directed.
• Circulates during the procedure and maintains patient comfort.
• Provides supplies for invasive procedures and assists as directed.
