Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Special Procedure Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures with sterile technique and angiographic equipment. You will scrub and circulate, assisting physicians while providing high-quality radiographic images for patient care.

Requirements include an Associate Degree, Basic Life Support within 30 days, and ARRT-R or ARRT-CI certification (to be obtained within 2 years).

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree is required.
• ARRT-R Radiography or ARRT-CI Cardiac Interventional Radiography must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.
• No travel required.
• 1 year(s) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Utilize sterile techniques, operate angiographic equipment, and assist physicians by scrubbing and circulating during procedures.
• Respond appropriately for emergent procedures (e.g., Code Strokes) as determined by the on-call physician.
• Maintain independence to produce high-quality radiographic images.
