Job summary

OU Health’s Interventional Radiology team seeks an IR Technologist at levels 1–3. The role supports advanced cardiovascular and radiologic procedures for adults and children.

40-hour weeks, 10-hour shifts with on-call requirements, and opportunities for professional growth. Minimum qualifications include ARDMS/ARRT/CCI eligibility with BLS; education from an accredited radiography program; sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and student loan repayment up to $25,000 are offered, plus relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required.
• CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in cardiovascular or radiologic technology; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI preferred.
• Experience: Tech I 0–3 years; Tech II 3–5 years; Tech III 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, high quality patient care in diverse settings.
• Prepares patients and correlates history with procedures.
• Communicates with care team to achieve outcomes.
• Operates imaging equipment for diagnostic/interventional procedures.
• Performs post-procedure reviews and documents results.
• Mentors less experienced team members and presents in-services.
• Performs quality assurance and maintenance per guidelines.
