Job summary

OU Medical Center's Interventional Radiology Department seeks an Interventional Technologist I–III to support minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. The role focuses on patient care, sterile technique, and collaboration with interventional radiologists, nurses, and technologists.

Qualifications include a post-secondary health science program, BLS, and ARRT/RCES or RCIS within 18 months. The position offers growth across Tech I–III levels and on-site, day-shift hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a post-secondary health science program as defined by ARRT or CCI.
• ARRT(RT), RCES or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.
• Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program accepted in lieu of other requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures including cardiac catheterization, angiography, and device implantation.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort.
• Maintain sterile field and safety protocols during procedures.
• Transfer images/data to the EHR and prepare studies for physician reporting.
• Participate in quality assurance and on-call coverage as assigned.
