Job summary

OU Health, at University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, seeks an Interventional Technologist in Interventional Radiology to perform cardiovascular and radiologic procedures. The position may be filled at Tech I–III levels based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required.
• Credentials in cardiovascular or radiologic technology as defined by ARDMS/ARRT/CCI must be current by hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains competencies for Level I duties.
• Provides safe, high-quality patient-centric care in diverse care settings.
• Prepares patients for procedures and correlates history with orders.
• Communicates with patients and the care team to achieve outcomes.
• Utilizes imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Performs post-procedure reviews and ensures documentation quality.
• Transfers images to archival systems and prepares studies for reporting.
• Performs quality control checks and maintenance per guidelines.
• Participates in continuing education and professional development.
• Mentors less experienced team members.
• Delivers in-service training and supports QA tasks.
