Job summary

IR Centers is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and assist physicians by passing instruments and helping with patient positioning and transfers. Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Valid BLS certification required
• 2 years surgical technologist/scrub tech experience preferred
• ARRT CST certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and rooms for radiology procedures
• Maintain sterile environment and pass instruments
• Assist with patient prep, transfers, and positioning
• Input patient data into C-Arm; assist physicians during procedures
• Maintain HIPAA compliance; label IV medications; process/ archive x-ray images
• Manage equipment maintenance and supply inventory
• Assist with accreditation surveys and radiation safety
• Communicate effectively with physicians; assist with CPT/ ICD codes
