UofL Health in Louisville is seeking an Interventional Technologist to scrub in and assist physicians in interventional radiology procedures. The IR Technologist circulates, procures equipment, and ensures patient safety and radiation precautions.

You will position patients, set exposure parameters, manage contrast injectors, and produce high-quality images while maintaining documentation and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT required.
• KY Radiation Operator’s certification required
• BLS required
• IR Registry required within 2 years of employment
• Prefer 2 years of recent experience as a general radiographer.

Responsabilités

• Assist in interventional radiology procedures and prep rooms.
• Position patients and set up trays using sterile technique.
• Set imaging parameters and manage dose and contrast.
• Produce images per established protocols and evaluate quality.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and documentation in systems.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-services; train new personnel.
• Support quality improvement and adherence to safety standards.
